This kit is a beautiful and fun project for a weaver who has their own rigid heddle weaving loom. It also makes it a perfect gift for a rigid heddle loom weaver? This kit allows the weaver to create a stunning black and colourful British wool scarf using the yarn and pattern included.
The loom and scarf shown is not included. If you would like to buy this kit with a rigid heddle loom this is an option in our shop.
The kit creates a vibrant black and brightly coloured scarf which is 23cm wide, 150cm long with an additional 12cm fringe at each end. The design pattern is relatively straightforward and is suitable for a new weaver.
The kit includes:
- skeins of British wool as shown. The predominant colour is black with flashes of the other colours.
- a weaving instruction booklet
To use this kit you will need to have a rigid heddle loom with either a 7.5 or 8 ends per inch heddle with a total of 84 (holes/slots) and 2 shuttles. The loom is not included in this kit.
