Are you looking for a kit to use with your rigid heddle loom or are you looking for a gift for a rigid heddle loom weaver? This kit allows you to weave a striking British wool navy grey scarf. Incorporating a detailed weaving pattern for a rigid heddle loom and yarn to weave the scarf. The yarn used is 100% British wool in Navy, dark and light grey colours.
The loom and the scarf shown is not included. If you would like to buy this kit with a rigid heddle loom this is an option in our shop.
The kit creates a houndstooth scarf which is 23cm wide, 150cm long with an additional 12cm fringe at each end. The houndstooth pattern is relatively straightforward with the pattern created by alternating the warp and weft colours.
The kit includes:
- 3 skeins of British wool in Navy, dark grey and light grey shades
- a weaving instruction booklet
To use this kit you will need to have a rigid heddle loom with either a 7.5 or 8 ends per inch heddle with a total of 84 (holes/slots) and 2 shuttles. The loom is not included in this kit.
