Weave a beautiful festive Christmas runner or 4 placemats using this rigid heddle loom weaving craft kit. This kit contains the red, green and grey yarn along with instructions to weave the runner as shown along with the loom, accessories and instructions. A perfect kit for learning to weave. Once you have completed your first weaving project you can continue to develop your weaving skills with your own 4 ply yarn.
Made in the UK this loom is a compact loom which is lightweight and perfect for a beginning weaver. We also sell 8 epi and 6 epi reeds separately which can be used with this loom allowing the weaver to weave with doubleknit and Aran wool respectively. The 10 epi reed is normally used for 4 ply wool yarn.
This loom has been designed and made totally by us in our workshop in the UK.
Dimensions of the loom are 34cm x 39cm x 11cm (with the heddle in the up position) or 9cm(with the heddle in the down position). The loom also has a neutral position allowing the weaver to progress onto more complex pick up stick weaving techniques.
The dimensions of the completed table runner are 1.3m x 25cm with a 15cm fringe at each end.
Dimensions of the placemats are 25cm wide by 28cm wide.
