Learn to weave this stunning British wool Tartan scarf using our fully assembled rigid heddle loom weaving kit. This all inclusive scarf weaving kit is a great way to learn to weave allowing you to develop the skills to weave fabric and scarves. Included in the kit is the rigid heddle weaving loom, three shuttles, warping peg, two clamps, instructions and your first project of the tartan scarf kit of yarn and pattern. Made in the UK this loom is a compact loom which is lightweight and perfect for a beginning weaver being delivered fully assembled and ready for immediate weaving.
Once the yarn in the kit has been used the weaver can then use their own double knit yarn to weave further. We also sell 10 epi and 6 epi reeds separately which can be used with this loom allowing the weaver to weave with 4 ply and Aran wool respectively.
This loom has been designed and made totally by us in our workshop in the UK.
Dimensions of the loom are 34cm x 39cm x 11cm(with the heddle in the up position) or 9cm(with the heddle in the down position). The loom also has a neutral position allowing the weaver to progress onto more complex pick up stick weaving techniques.
