Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the Terms) govern your use of this website and your purchase of products from us. Our business name is TabbyandTweed which is run by Emma Baker and Gillian SIggers.

By using this website, and by buying products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

When Purchasing
When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices we charge for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information including delivery costs are available on the payments page.

Shipping
We aim to ship orders out promptly, usually within a couple of days. At busy periods this may extend to 3-5 days.
We use Royal Mail second class for all orders except Rigid Heddle looms which are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
​You have the option of selecting Express delivery so that you orders are then (with the exception of Rigid heddle loom are dispatched by Royal Mail first class.

Returns and Refunds
We often ship orders out promptly, usually with a couple of days. We aim to deliver to UK postal addresses within 3-7 working days of receiving your order. This includes a processing time of 2 – 5 days and a delivery time of 3 – 5 days. Please note, this is a guide, we cannot predict any delivery delays within the Royal Mail or any other courier service.

We use Royal Mail second class for all orders except Rigid Heddle looms which are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

You have the option of selecting Express delivery so that you orders are then (with the exception of Rigid heddle looms) dispatched by Royal Mail first class.​

We have every confidence that you will be delighted with your online purchase. However, if you change your mind, or are dissatisfied with the product, your right to cancel your order is protected by your statutory rights. In addition, we are committed to providing an excellent service for all our customers and if you are not entirely satisfied we will do our utmost to help.

If the products arrive damaged or are faulty please advise us by email at tabbyandtweed2@outlook.com as soon as possible after receipt, and we will reimburse your purchase or send a replacement within 14 days of establishing the nature of the damage or fault.

Please note that we may ask you to provide evidence of the nature of damage or fault and/or to return the product to us for further investigation.

If you change your mind about your purchase or wish to cancel your order please send an email to tabbyandtweed@outlook.com . In these circumstances we expect you to take good care of the products and return them unused and in their original condition, and as well packed as you received them, as soon as reasonably practicable. Please include a note with your invoice number, your name, address, contact email/telephone, and a brief description of why you are returning the products. Returns must be made within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Please also obtain and retain the proof of posting.


Where the products have been damaged in transit or found by us to be faulty, we will reimburse your initial postage costs and send you a replacement free of charge. Alternatively, we will offer a full refund.
Where you change your mind about your purchase we will refund the cost of the products and standard postage only from ourselves (not your postage costs to return to ourselves).

All refunds can only be made to the payment card/method used when making the initial payment.
We aim to process all refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or of the cancellation of your order.

Although we strive to ensure that the images and descriptions of our goods are accurate, we hope that you will understand that the hand-made nature of the products means there maybe slight variations. Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Product packaging may vary. The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in images on our Website.
